    Community College Classes

    Taking community college courses is a great way to prepare for college, expand your personal/career interest, recover credits and/or boost up your College GPA, FOR FREE. Students interested in taking community college courses should always check in with your counselor. 

    There are community college courses offered for 3 terms: Fall, Spring and Summer either in person or online. 

    In partnership with YEP and HPN, Tennyson High School offers Community College Classes from Chabot College. Please look below for the updated information.

    There are two courses from which to choose! Deadline to register is November 30th 

    Course 1: In Person 

    Communications 1- Fundamentals of Speech Comm (3units)
    Looking to Sharpen your communication skills and boost your confidence? Sign up for Comm1. This Course will help sharpen your skill in developing & presenting speeches with an emphasis on preparation to successfuly inform, persuade or entertain your audience. 

    This course is CSU and UC transferable.   3 Chabot units (10 HUSD units)

    Class begins: Week of Jan 17th 2023
    Days & Times: Tues. 3:55-5:40 Thurs. 3:10-4:55

    Course 2:  Virtual/Online

    ANT 1  Biological /Physical Anthropology    SPRING 2023
    Ever wonder how humans came to be? In ANTH 1 you can learn the scientific study of how humans evolved. Learn about uniquely human biology, cultures, societies, and human behaviors shared with other animals. Study fossil evidence and feel like a scientist!

    This course is CSU and UC transferable.   3 Chabot units (10 HUSD units)
